Stadium of Fire

The Leydsman's were so sweet and thoughtful to invite me along to go to Stadium of Fire. I love Nic's parents. They are such sweet, righteous, down to earth people. He is truly blessed to have such great parents! Nic and I got to the show late because we were at my friend Jackilyn's wedding. She looked so beautiful and happy with her new hubby Andy. I love weddings so much, they make me incredibly happy! Anyway, by the time Nic and I parked and walked all the way to the stadium David Archuleta was almost done his performance. We caught the last few songs, including the only song I knew of his "Crush" and then waited for the headliner Brad Paisley to come on.

I actually had never heard a Brad Paisley song before Stadium of Fire, but he was so entertaining that it didn't bother me at all that I had never heard his music before. I thought he was a great performer and put on an awesome show! After he sang the fireworks started. I love watching fireworks with Nic. Every year when the fourth of July would roll around when I was single I would always wish that I had a special someone to watch them with. Now, I have had Nic to snuggle up with and watch fireworks with for the past 2 fourth of Julys. There is definitely something special and romantic about seeing the sky light up in pretty colors while being with the person that you love. Stadium of Fire was a lot of fun! I hope to go again next year

OK, so I hate the picture uploader on facebook and I feel like I can't really tell a story on there with just captions. I took 590 pictures on my most recent trip with Nic and I have so many things that I want to say so I figured this is a great time to start a blog! You might know that I have another blog at hometrendsutah.blogspot.com; I will continue to update that with all the great design ideas that I find, but this blog is more for my friends and family to see what I've been up to lately!
